FOR ELEMNTARY SCHOOL
( Odd one out )

friends, now I will share about a game that can be applied in the teaching
learning process at elementary school in Indonesia. The name of the game is Odd
one out. The students are asked to choose which word is different from
others. There are four words in a group. A word out of four is different. And
the left three words have the same group.

Here is the example of the words, one is
different out of four:
Grape, orchid, Mango, banana.
The answer is Orchid because orchid belongs
to kinds of flower and others are fruit.
Ok now is time for you to choose the anwer
and the reason why.
Which one is different from others?
1. Pencil, ruler, hat, rubber

2. Window, door, floor, book

3. Television, radio, Computer, car

4. Ship, Motorcycle, car, bus

Those are just the examples. The teacher can
creatively makes the questions. He/she can develop and makes more and more questions
to be done by his/her students. This kind of game can test the students’
mastery in vocabularies. If the students you teach can answer your questions,
your game, it means that they, so far have understood and got a lot of
vocabularies.
